We’ve adopted Real Madrid in the Champions League
Thanks to our former pubcast guest predictor Kay Murray, we’ve now adopted Real Madrid as our Champions League team for The Football Pubcast.
After we had Kay (pictured) on the show a few weeks back, she got back in touch recently to suggest we backed Los Blancos this season. We told her we needed reasons, so she went away, recorded this vid, and came back to us with loads of them!
So, after careful consideration last week (about 10 seconds!) we’ve decided to officially back Real Madrid in the Champions League this season and welcome Kay to the Pubcast team as our official Real Madrid correspondent to keep us right up to date with all the goings on at the Bernebeu.
We ran a liveblog during Real’s win with Ajax last week and we’ll look to do the same for future Real Madrid Champions League games, with us bringing you our (ahem) insight from our armchairs (or the pub) while Kay brings her actual real-life expert knowledge live and direct from the stadium itself.
