Off and running!
At the seventh time of trying, the Pubcast’s team north of the border finally claimed their first league win of the season.
Peterhead defeated Alloa Athletic by a goal to nil at Balmoor, thanks to Stuart Anderson’s late strike.
It looked like the Blue Toon had blown their chance of victory when Conor Gethins missed a 33rd-minute penalty, picking up an injury in the process.
But Anderson’s goal, just four minutes from time, sealed Peterhead’s first league win of the campaign and moved them off the bottom of the Scottish Division Two table.
