It’s the biggest match of the Premier League so far, as Manchester United go head to head with bitter rivals Liverpool in a much-anticipated match.
Neither side has looked at top form so far this season, but they’ll both be looking to kickstart their campaigns with a memorable win at Old Trafford today.

Our adopted Champions League Pubcast team, Real Madrid, opened their Champions League campaign at the Bernebeu against Ajax.
Los Blancos completely dominated the game from start to finish, but despite creating dozens of goalscoring chances, only managed to win by two goals to nil.
Despite that, Real’s overall performance was a hugely impressive one, as Kay Murray reports from Madrid:
In our first Extra Time show of the season, Si and Dan made the trip north to Old Trafford to take in the Battle of Britain as Manchester United went head-to-head with Rangers in Matchday 1 of the UEFA Champions League.
They took in a couple of Manchester’s local hostelries before making the hop across town for the match before sharing in some post-match banter with some of the Rangers fans in their hotel bar.

Pubcast-supported side Peterhead are still searching for their first win of the league season, but their 0-0 draw with top-of-the-table Livingston was a positive result, despite that scoreline sending the Blue Toon to the bottom of the table.

Simon Pitney’s adopted side, NK Osijek of Croatia, are under new management and are making a fresh start, so it seems.
The side claimed a 3-1 win against NK Sibenik at the weekend and you can watch the match highlights, including all three of Osijek’s goals, in the video clip below.
With the Pubcast team decimated by illness and holidays, Si and Jim dragged their work colleague and Watford (and Liverpool!) fan Jimmy Sheridan kicking and screaming to the pub to help fill the void.
