Extra Time: Gillingham, Barnet, Bovril and Comeback

The Football Pubcast went to Underhill to watch Gillingham take on Barnet in a bottom-of-the-table clash in League Two.

The Gills had gone 18 months without an away win, but had broken that duck with a win the previous Saturday. Up against the side managed by their previous (and less-than-popular) manager, Mark Stimson, the Gills were looking to make it two away wins in the space of four days.

With more than 1,200 Gills fans packed the stands, making almost half the 2,500 attendance, the atmosphere was superb, and despite going behind to a scrappy Kevin Gallen goal after half an hour, the Gills produced a memorable fightback to claim a morale-boosting victory.

Check out the audio from the match, recorded outside the ground pre-match, and from the terraces themselves on a memorable night at Underhill.
