Say hello to our new sister show!

We have great fun here at The Football Pubcast. Recording the shows is always fun, as is listening back to them for the first time afterwards. That’s what it’s all about for us, having fun. Hopefully you have fun listening, too.

But we’re not the only ones. There are a whole host of other shows, each with their own style, or niche, that make for fun listening.

And we’ve decided to link up with one such show to help give you even more podcasting goodness each week.

The Glasgow-based Royal 1 Radio Football show is presented by Andy Harrow, Jamie Borthwick and Simon Laird (pictured). They’ve guested on our show before, and each week they review all things Scottish when it comes to the beautiful game.

We reckon their show, recorded from Glasgow Royal Infirmary, or the occasional local hostelry, provides the perfect accompaniment to what we’re doing down here in London, and vice-versa, so we’ve agreed to join forces.

From today, you’ll be able to listen to Andy, Jamie and Simon directly from this very site. Plus, you’ll be able to read their take on football matters north of the border in their exclusive blog.

It’s great to welcome the lads to the Football Pubcast website as our new sister show. A big, hairy, rather masculine sister perhaps, but we’re delighted all the same.

Please do check out their shows and blog here, and find out how they came into being (the show, not them personally) here.

It’s great to have them on board, and hopefully you’ll enjoy listening to both shows in 2011 and beyond.
