Put your questions to Ashley Young, Michael Carrick and Nani

Football fans can put their questions to three of Manchester United’s top stars in a live Q&A session streamed via the Betfair Facebook page at 1:30pm (GMT) on Thursday 19 January.

Betfair presents Man Utd live will see midfield stalwart Michael Carrick appear in an exclusive 30 minute broadcast alongside team-mates Ashley Young and Nani. Supporters will be able to watch the action by simply ‘liking’ the betting exchange’s Facebook page.

TV presenter Rachel Brookes will be taking questions from fans before and during the show. Supporters can submit their questions via the Betfair Facebook page or by tweeting @BetfairSports with the #MUlive hashtag.

United winger Ashley Young said: “It’s been an eventful season so far, so there’s plenty to talk about. This is a great way to get close to our fans right around the world.”

The players will have plenty to talk about as the broadcast comes just days before the club’s crunch Premier League tie with Arsenal, and ahead of their FA Cup fourth round tie with rivals Liverpool.

Pubcast #63: Taking the roof off the dump…almost!

This week’s show saw us go above and beyond the call of duty as, on a day when EVERYBODY (except the staff) had evacuated The Moose Bar in Canary Wharf, we stayed in our seats to record our first show of the New Year.

    On this week’s show:

    – The big winners of the festive period
    – John Terry’s new-found fame in India
    – Joey Barton vs Bradley Johnson
    – Chris Whelpdale’s testicle injury
    – The start of the transfer window
    – The FA Cup Third Round
    – Vinny Jones stars in a British Heart Foundation ad
    – and much, much more!

Pubcast #62: Merry Christmas, and drink safe

Here’s our festive Pubcast, recorded in a packed Moose Bar in Canary Wharf. Simon, Jim and Sean are joined by Manchester United fan Abhi and Stoke City fan Mike as they celebrate the festive holidays and discuss the burning football issues of the day.

Have a great Christmas and we’ll be back in the New Year!

Pubcast #61: Don’t you know who I am?

This weeks show, minus Simon (who was off filling his face with a Christmas lunch somehere, apparently) features the rest of the regular pubcasters, as Jim, Dan, Sean and Stu dropped in at The Moose Bar in Canary Wharf to discuss all things football.

You can listen to the show via the player below, or why not subscribe to get our show every week, for free, via the iTunes Music Store? Just click the big Music Store button on the right of the site…

WARNING: Contains traces of Jim’s potty mouth (even though he’s just quoting Ian Walker, so blame him…)

    Pubcast #59: RIP Gary Speed

The Pubcasters returned to The Moose Bar in Canary Wharf for this week’s show, where they discussed the sad death of Gary Speed and the issues surrounding it this week.

On a happier topic, Sean recounted his experience of being at Old Trafford to see his beloved Crystal Palace knock Manchester United out of the Carling Cup, while Dan tried – and failed – to argue against Spurs’ crucial disallowed goal against Greek side PAOK Salonika in the Europa League.

Throw in the usual features and plenty of pub-based chat and it all amounts to a shade under 45 minutes’ worth of Pubcast. Enjoy…

Pubcast #57: There’s a moose loose about this (public) hoose!

With Si on holiday and Big Stu getting some much needed exercise; it fell to Jim, Dan and Sean to take up the Pubcast baton this week.

They did so in the new and unfamiliar surroundings of the Moose Bar in the heart of London’s Canary Wharf. They even took time to check out the festive ice rink en route.

Pubcast #56: A bunch of goons in Wetherspoons

    Play

The Football Pubcast switched venues this week – to the local Wetherspoons pub – and picked up two new pubcasters along the way.

Crystal Palace fan Sean Miller made his Pubcast debut, and friend of the show and ale aficionado and Newcastle United fan “Olly” aka @Morgan_Leafy joined the show from The Ledger Rooms, Canary Wharf.

    Here’s what’s on this week’s show:

    - Jim’s “exciting” floodlight news
    - Our latest Melbourne Heart update
    - More Mario Balotelli news
    - Joey Barton vs TOWIE
    - The Football Pubcast’s burning question of the week

You can subscribe to the show via the iTunes Music Store by clicking the button on the right of the screen, or you can listen via the player at the top of this article.
