    – A quick review of the weekend’s talking points

    Extra Time: Barnet v Gillingham

    Play

The Football Pubcast made the short trip to North London to take in some League Two action as Gillingham took on Barnet at Underhill.

Simon and Dan were in with the Gills fans for the match, which finished in an entertaining 2-2 draw in a match that produced some great action, a spectacular goal and a last-gasp equaliser.

Despite Simon and Jim’s lifelong allegiance to Gillingham, the draw was a fair result in a game that saw the first half dominated by the Gills, while the second period was bossed by the Bees.

Check out our audio from the night in a bite-sized bonus podcast from The Football Pubcast.

    – Cult hero left backs, including former Everton hard-man Pat Van Den Hauwe

    – Looking forward to Barnet v Gillingham

    – Dan’s Top 5 dodgy barnets

    – Why Peter Crouch is less popular than cotton wool and a 20-year-old hairdryer

    – Plus, we start the search for the Pubcast’s adopted team for 2011-12 (can you help?)
