Pubcast #45: Getting the band back together
Kicking off a new season of The Football Pubcast, we have a bumper show, recorded earlier this week at Henry Addington’s in Canary Wharf.
To mark the occasion, former Pubcast regulars Simon Pitney and Michael Coxon return to get the season underway, plus we meet the Pubcast’s newest member, Dan Silver (we should point out at this juncture we should point out that he’s not the same Dan Silver who runs MirrorFootball, despite them working in the same building!).
On a packed show we share our predictions for the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two and the Conference Premier, while looking forward to the season ahead.
You can listen to the show via the player below, or subscribe to receive the show via iTunes.

It was supposed to just be a pre-season pint, but we decided to record something anyway. Consider this a pre-season friendly of a podcast. We’re not at 100%, we’re not at match fitness at at least two of us have turned up overweight.
Simon and Jim were accompanied by a cast of listeners as they unveiled the winners and losers of the past football season with their very own end-of-season awards, The Alpines.
Simon and Jim hit the pub on Friday lunchtime for a belated, and somewhat impromptu, recording of the Football Pubcast.
Simon, Dan and Jim met up at the pub for this week’s show, where they discussed the latest goings on in the world of football.
For our 40th show Simon, Dan, Jim and Stu paid the pub a visit to chat about the various goings on in the world of football.
The weekend is set to deliver no less than four huge finals with the Football League Playoffs and the Champions League all reaching their climax on the same weekend.
