    Pubcast #123: World Cup Woe

After the debacle that was last week’s show the boys are back (and on time) this week with a belter of a show. After the drubbing of San Marino and the underwhelming draw with Montenegro it was of course England that were the subject of the most heated debate, with Mike, Dan and Andy all weighing in with differing opinions. But it wasn’t just the Three Lions, also under debate were:

    • Scotland are worse than San Marino
    • Bale misfires for Wales
    • Northern Ireland and the crafty Israel coach
    • A look at qualifying elsewhere in the world
    • Naughty Luis Suarez
    • Brentford get out and push
    • Naughty Neville Neville
    • Van Wolfswinkel to Norwich
    • Melbourne Heart update
    • New(ish) iTunes reviews!
    • And a whole host of fun…

Pubcast #122 – The Pubcast Oversleeps

It was a delayed Pubcast this week (apologies once again) but Dan, a very sleepy Mike and new boy Connor headed down to a slightly different pub for a good old-fashioned debate. There was plenty to discuss, from bad tackles to Greek politics, plus listen out for more user comments and we’ll be back next week, on time and in full flow!

Take for example that you have an online business site and a client would love to view the products that you are selling.
Comparing prices is the best way to save money on your seo marketing and to ensure you
get the cheap cost you need. Hiring an SEO company is as important and valuable to your site, like the
ROI, but if you’re not sure how and technology, or to your site every marketing technique to impress the major search engines, then choose the best SEO package contains everything you need.

    Pubcast #105: Low Battery

The Pubcaster’s welcomed back an old friend and introduced a new one this week but, like the 1999 Champions League final, all the excitement didn’t happen until the last few minutes

Unlike the 1999 Champions League final; this was because of a low battery on the recording device but, aside from that, this was a stellar show. There was controversy, there was comedy and, more than anything, there was the absolute crap that you know and love. The topics covered include…

    • Billy Wright’s 50s WAG
    • Berbatov & Ruiz living in luxury in Fulham
    • Little Pea leaves Villa shell-shocked
    • Everybody loves Steve Evans…
    • Everybody loves Leeds United…
    • West Ham United: 2nd best team in London
    • Zaha for England
    • Sterling: 3 kids but too young for Walkabout
    • No mush-room in the top 9 for Montpellier
    • Exciting debate – Trivia vs Information
    • Franchise Scum vs. Wimbledon
    • Socceroos coach should be on his Behich
    • David Luiz in tears
    • Bloody Brazilians
    • Lads of the week
    • Bebeto’s baby in Under 20 Squad
    • Liverpool’s miniature forwards
    • Q&A with Stevie G
    • Edgar “F***ing” Davids
    • Sam Hamilton/Charly Bennet update
    • + all the usual nonsense

Steven Gerrard forgets what language he speaks…

He may be on the verge of his 99th cap for England, but Stevie G still struggles to remember what language the country speaks…

Or maybe he was just hoping for a Scouse translation?

Pubcast #100: Ninety-Nine More Than We Thought

This week saw the Football Pubcast reach a huge milestone, the 100th Episode! Who’d have thought that when Simon Head first recruited a band of misfits to chat about all things football, the show would come this far! A special mention has to go to all of the listeners who’ve given the boys a reason to keep recording every week (and given them an excuse to go to the pub)! On this week’s show there was not only a full squad out but also a cameo from the Godfather himself. After the initial centenary celebrations were over, the boys sat down to discuss the week’s football including; the England squad for the upcoming qualifiers, worst injuries in football, a surprise package from the guys at FFDU and much much more…..

    • Jim’s history lesson
    • Glossop North End
    • Stand out and stand down performances of the week
    • Gareth Bale – deliberate diver or massive wimp?
    • Wilfred Zaha to a big club in January?
    • Redknapp to QPR?
    • Stone Cold Charlie Austin strikes again
    • Dodgy Football League referees
    • Danny Shittu vs Owen Coyle
    • Red Dragons flying high
    • Coxon’s hate for Tony Pulis
    • Garth Crooks gaff
    • Spanish League review
    • Jeffers joins the Maltese League
    • Quotes of the week
    • Hastings United and the FA cup 3rd qualifying round
    • A League update and confirmation of the Pubcast’s team to follow
    • And much much more

    Pubcast #96: JFT96

Today’s pubcast was recorded after David Cameron’s historic address to Parliament in the wake of the latest report into 1989’s tragic disaster at Hillsborough Stadium. We discuss some of the report’s findings, including evidence of a truly shocking and widespread cover-up, and pay tribute to the 96 innocent fans who lost their lives so needlessly on a Saturday afternoon at the football.

Whilst days like today put things into perspective, football carries on, and we wouldn’t be the Football Pubcast if we didn’t give the week’s on and off-field action a passing mention. Amongst the other topics covered were:

    • World Cup Qualifying including wins for Jamaica and Colombia
    • Some other games involving home nations
    • Steven Fletcher’s Scottish exile
    • “Hilarious” Chris Coleman quotes
    • Papiss Cisse wondergoal
    • Football league round-up
    • ‘Arry Redknapp back to Bournemouth
    • Del Piero to Sydney FC
    • Nobby Solano’s trumpet
    • Jim’s love for Steve Evans, and the latter’s 6 match STADIUM ban
    • Hot Gossip about Dan’s Mum
    • Dan #learningtodescribebetter
    • Jens Lehman’s Paralympic dreams
    • Some very, very naughty boys
    • Richard Kingson’s naughty wife
    • New iTunes review & shout outs
    • And much more quality “banter” from the “lads”

Pubcast #95: Zamorano Sums It All Up

The Pubcasters retired to the pub once again to answer the questions that nobody is asking…is Florent Malouda the new Winston Bogarde? Has Peterborough’s goalkeeper scored the most ridiculous own goal ever? And do all Belgian people really come from Holland? Not content with chewing over the key philosophical, social and economic issues of the day they also talked about…

    • Georgie Weah, Ivan “1+8″ Zamorano and the class of 1995
    • Palace Penalty Drama
    • Van Persie…Penalty Drama
    • Stu “Faurls” in love with Alejandro once again
