My Spanish isn’t quite good enough to understand exactly what’s happened here, but due to some fussy officiating, this poor Bolivian goalkeeper is forced to face the same penalty three times in a row… And duly saves each one.
My favourite part is his reaction when he finds out the second save hasn’t counted. That’s some angry running right there.
Jonathan Soriano, formerly a prolific striker for Barcelona B, has been in good form this season with 5 goals already in the Austrian league. So when, at 2-0 down in a league game against Rapid Vienna, he stepped up to take a penalty, Red Bull Salzberg fans must have thought they’d found a way back into the game.

Aleksandr Geynrikh tried to do the fancy fancy with a penalty for Uzbekistan U23 against Zenith St Petersburg in a friendly. And failed miserably…twice…
He should have left it to the all time greats. Johann Cruyff could do this kind of thing…
Then again…Thierry Henry & Robert Pires, two (begrudging) legends of the English game couldn’t pull it off…
